USE NOTEPAD AS YOUR PERSONAL DIARY

Notepad Secrets
1)To use your notepad as a diary
Open Notepad
On the very first line, type in ".LOG" (without quotes) then press Enter for a new line
Now you can type in some text if you want, then save the file.
Next time when you open the file, notice its contents. Notepad automatically adds a time/date log everytime you open the file.
and you can type your contents under the date and use it as your diary

BOOST THE PERFORMANCE OF YOUR PC

To boost performance of your PC or to increase RAM virtually,
Right click on My Computer Icon on Desktop
>> Go to Properties
>> Go to Advanced
>> Go to Performance - Settings
>> Go to Advanced
>> Go to Virtual Memory - Change
Keep the initial size same as recommended and maximum size double of it then restart your system.
It will improve speed of windows and you can play some games which require higher RAM.


To Minimise all the application and running windows press the "Windows + M " key together.

Trick to hide the hard disk drives in your computer

This is a simple trick for people who would like to hide the data stored in their drives from outsiders.
go to start>>run>>and type gpedit.msc and run it
Now navigate through user configuration>administrative templates>>windows components>>windows explorer

now double click the "hide the specified drives in my computer"
modify it accordingly.

there it is..!!
now open my computer and you will no longer see the drive that you chose to hide.

to make it visible again--double click "hide the specified drives in my computer" and click disable..

A trick to make an invisible folder in your computer in xp..!!

                       

What we're gonna do is simple change the name of the folder to an invisble ASCII code and change the icon to a blank icon...which makes it seem invisible.

How to Reset / Recover Forgotten Windows Administrator Password?

At time when we need to Open Someone Else's Pc or Your own Pc which has been protected by a password ..At that time you can use the Pc without entering their  password.

Just Follow the steps below::

Start system and when you see Windows Welcome screen / Login screen, press <ctrl> + <alt> + <delete> keys twice and it'll show Classic Login box. Now type "Administrator" (without quotes) in Username and leave Password field blank. Now press Enter and you should be able to log in Windows.

Now you can reset your account password from "Control Panel -> User Accounts".

trick to make ur notepad type on its own

A Notepad
that writes on it own is for sure a very weird thing, but very funny in the same time. 
i will demonstrate exactly that today

1. Open Notepad.
2. Copy this script in Notepad:

wscript.sleep 2000
wshshell.AppActivate "Notepad"
WshShell.SendKeys "XX"
WScript.Sleep 500
WshShell.SendKeys "XX"

The little program will make your Notepad type "XXXXXX". You can always make your custom message by replacing the letters between the " " signs with the ones you want.

You can add more lines like the following ones for more letters:

WScript.Sleep 500
WshShell.SendKeys "insert here your letter of group of letters 

3. Now save the file. Go to File->Save as. Type the name of the file with the extension .vbs. For example if you want to choose the name Notepad, type Notepad.vbs. Also be sure that File type is All files not Text file!

4. When you doubleclick on it, Notepad will start typing letters. =)
